Scheduler not respecting "pm" tasks.

Everytime I try to schedule one care to start after noon, it converts the
time back to am, e.g. 18:02 scheduled daily scan gets saved as 06:02, 23:45
as 11:45 although one can enter the correct time.

Example: The moment I click on update schedule for a pm start and the
"spyware scan schedule has been updated" box has been OK'ed, it disappears to
leave the new schedule as its am equivalent. Annoying to say the least.

Thank you,

J.

Set your Windows Language setting to English (United States)

Set the scan time.

Set you language setting back to the original setting.

The scan should happen at the chosen afternoon time.

(this works because the default time format for English (United States) is a
12-hour format. Choosing any 12 hour format for long enough to set the scan
time should work, but this is an easier set of steps to describe.)

Despite trying this workround to the letter, and trying varying times of day,
I just can not get any schedule to, well, schedule!

What options are checked on the right hand side? I always end up with just
the "Do not display scan results" option checked. Even i I check others,
unchecks that one, or a combniation of these; even if I set weekly or daily;
I click on Update Schedule and get advised that my schedule is updated, but
when I check the summary page, it still says 'in-active'

:(

I think you are hitting a different bug--one in which some form of
corruption is preventing setting of any or some user choices.

This has been what's worked for others:

1) uninstall Microsoft Antispyware
2) delete \program files\microsoft antispyware and all subfolders. You will
lose access to any quarantined items, history, and custom settings.
3) reinstall Microsoft Antispyware, taking care to be sure to be using the
latest version (.701 with an expiration date of July 2006) and to be logged
in as the administrator user who will most often use the program.

This should get the various checkboxes to function as well as they ever
did--but it won't fix the afternoon bug or the 10 AM bug--those will
apparently be with us until beta2 appears.

Hi Bill
Thanks for your advice and help with this issue. It sorted out the
"am"/"pm" problem straight away.
