Im using windows XP and i lost the ability to set
scheduled tasks. Im running without a password. I was
able to set scheduled tasks but then i installed updates
and i wasnt able to afterwards. Is there something i can
do to fix it, i know there was a registry edit for XP
home but i forgot where...im willing to try diff. things

Hi Wesley,

From MVP Kelly (a workaround):

For Home: Backup your registry before modifying. Locate the following
registry key:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Lsa

Value name: limitblankpassworduse
Type: REG_DWORD
Data: 0 (disabled) 1 (enabled)

It is enabled by default. Disable it and scheduled tasks should run.
