Scheduled tasks Help

Hi and thanks in advance...

I'm playing around with Scheduled tasks with xp pro.
What I'm attempting is to open up outlook and close the program a short time
later?
Or am I looking at the wrong program or wrong solution?

So is it possible with Scheduled tasks to achieve open a program and close
the program?
I have tried "end task if"

Ive just read up on "killtask" looks complicated but would it do the job?
Any advice or links to help me through this one would be much appreciated.
And or if there are any switches to close with out saving or saving?

Microsoft says type in cmd prompt:schtasks/querry
or type:task scheduler
Theres is a cmd,type:Tasklist
