Scheduled Tasks error

I'm running Windows 2000 server and am trying to schedule a task to
periodically cycle a service. I browse to and select the file, but get this
error: The new task could not be created. The specific error is: 0x80070005:
Access is denied. Try using the Task page Browse button to locate the
application.

This happens with any task I try to create on this server and with any file
or app I try to run. I'm using the browse button to select the file/app and
am using an account with Domain Admins credentials. I've also tried using
the local Administrator account and other accounts within the domain that
have Domain Admins rights. This is the only server with this problem and
I've successfully scheduled tasks on other DCs/servers/workstations within
the domain to rule out group policy being an issue. I've cycled Task
Scheduler and even rebooted the server, but the problem still exists.

Any ideas?

Thanks

Have a look at the ntfs permissions of c:\windows\tasks.

As a work-around you might be able to schedule your tasks
with at.exe.
