Scheduled Task fails

I can no longer setup a scheduled task. It gets the
following message: 0x8007007a: The data area passed to a
system call is too small.

It used to work, but no longer.

I'm running XP Home

I've even Repaired XP, but it still fails.

Any help
 
Hi Dick,

Try the following:
Stop and start the task scheduler service, wait for 10 to 15 minutes, and
then schedule jobs

I tried this and still no joy. McAfee can no longer
schedule virus checks, and Backup MyPC can no longer use
the Scheduled Tasks to do a backup. Maybe I have to
rebuild the whole system.

Any other ideas?
