Scheduled Task Does Not Run

Is it running on a passworded account and have you set it to "run as" that
account name and password?

Maybe it doesn't work on October 25, but will work if you go back to the

I have added a task to Task Scheduler to automatically run McAfee
Virus Scan weekly. It has never worked.

I found an article (#Q308558) on Microsoft.com and tried to
troubleshoot the problem....still no luck. It appears that the task
runs because there is no error message and under the Status column,
there is 0x0 which means that the operation completed
successfully....however, in viewing the Task Scheduler log and the
McAfee log, there are no entries that the event even started.

Can anyone help me??!!! This is totally mind boggling.

It is totally mind boggling, that you would expect a time dependent
function, to operate when your clock is set some few days in the future.

Set your TIME/DATE correctly!

Check the date and time settings of your computer. The reason I say this is
because the date showing that you posted this message was 10/25/2003 and
today is 10/20/03.

planet! Fix your calendar, time zone and clock and your problems will
