scheduled backup "exit code of (2d)"

Sometime when I try to run a scheduled backup to a tape
drive, I get the following error in the windows Scheduler
AT log:

"Result: The task completed with an exit code of (2d)."

What exactly does the error code of (2d) mean?

The exit code is generated by your backup application,
not by Win2000. Check its reports and its documentation!
