I would like to schedule my computer to run a disk
defrag at a certain time. I can do the disk cleanup but I
cant find the disk defrag in the schedule task. I go to
shedule task then browse, C, all users, start menu,
programs, administrative tools, computer management but
thats as far as it lets me go I cant get to the disk
defrag. I appreciate any help I can get I'm not very
knoledgable with computers so please explain in detail
thank you.

The GUI interface to the built-in defragmenter (dfrg.msc) can NOT be
scheduled. You will need to schedule the command line interface to the
built-in defragmenter - defrag.exe

Hi

The Disk Defrag program file is here:

%SystemRoot%\System32\dfrg.msc
