When I tried to adjust daily scan to 12:00 (in 24H) after
updating schedule it turns into 00:00.
Why can't I scan in the middle of the day?

Because of a bug. Neither 10:00 AM nor times between 12 and 12:59 work
well.

Agreed--I'm not minimizing the importance of the issue--this is one of the
earliest identified issues with the beta. One of the areas that needs
substantial revision in the product is "localization" issues. This is a
broader area than just dates and times, but dates and times are a portion of
it. I expect to see this fixed when localization issues are checked in,
which hasn't happened yet.
