Schedule an automatic e-mail

How would you set up an e-mail to be send out to people on a monthly basis? I
need to set up a reminder e-mail to my co-workers on a monthly and bi-monthly
basis. The e-mail would always be the same. I would just like to be able set
it up once in calendar or wherever and send the e-mail out automatically.
