ScanPST problem outlook 2000

Guest

I am using Outlook 2000 and let my PST file creep a little too high it got to
around 2.1 GB. I used 2GBPST to shrink it to 1.8GB, when I use SCANPST to
complete the shrinking process I get an error saying that "Something caused
SCANPST to stop, scanned file has not been changed"

I know SCANPST will not repair a file larger than 2 GB, but are there other
reasons it will fail?

You might need to shrink it a little more. Running a general disk repair utility could also be helpful.
