Scanning and Paint

When I scan a document with my Brother MFC (2005) it automatically is sent to
Paint (1995). The image is much larger than my screen. How do I reduce the
image to a normal letter size?

Look at your scanning software, it may provide a way to scale down the image
size.

After the image is opened in Paint, you can select "Image" on the drop down
menu bar and use "Stretch/Skew" to resize it. Once you've done that, you can
save the change if you choose.
