scanner driver

Can anyone tell me where I can find a "free" scanner driver for a
Artec ViewStation As6e 136 for windows xp.
It is for a friend of mine, I tried searching but can't find any "good free"
sites. I am not even sure if this scanner is compatable with XP? Any help
would be appreciated.

If the scanner's manufacturer doesn't provide a driver for their own
device, it's exceedingly unlikely that anyone else would do so.

I did a little more searching and found the website and the download driver
section. I guess it is compatable with XP but special instructions. If anyone
needs this info.
