Scan Disk at XP Startup

All of a sudden , when starting up, the computer starts a scan disk, says it
is checking for file consistency.

It always ends with no problems found.

What can I do to stop this.

Win XP Pro
Norton Sytem Works 2003

Go to run,type:cmd
At the curser type:CHKDSK C: /d
/d is for disabling auto run cmds,C: being the hd,if you
need help in cmd type:HELP or CHKDSK C: /? When thru
type:EXIT
