SB Live 5.1 won't install

Eh, this sucks. I spent hours last night and this morning trying everything
and anything to get this SB Live 5.1 model # sb0100 sound card to work.
The driver seems to install ok (shows up as installed and working properly
in the device manager) but the card still won't install. Maybe my mb's too
old. Asus p2b, intel 440bx chip
set, win xp. Newest bios update. Bleah ..

OK, never-mind. After about 8 hours of trying everything and anything I ran
the xp installation disk and while reinstalling xp it managed to install the
sound card without even asking for drivers.
