Saving web site to my computer.

I have a 3 year working web site. Built using FP 2002. I had some serious
problems recently uploading. I decided to delete the web site on my computer.
Then download the trouble free site back to my computer.

1. When I go to front page I have a My Web page with nothing in it. There is
no access to publish. When you go to View/Navagation there is nothing there
except the index page, with a FP blue background. Looks just like my old site
looked when all the pages were there. When I click on open Web it shows My
Web but there is nothing in it. Which is correct.

How do I load my Web Site back to MY Web on my computer?

I have to have instructions for FP 2002.

Real delimma

Thanks,

Open FP, then File Menu | Open Web / Site and enter http://www.yourdomainname.com then your login
info, then click ok, then Open, then use File Menu | Publish Web / Site and enter the location on
your HD to publish to.

Thomas,

I opened FP, and it took me to the empty web.

I went to file and did an open web.

I entered my web site http://susiesfunart.com in the open field.

Got a message back saying

may be located in an unavailable location

or password protected, which it is.

or the file name contains a \ or/

After my website entry I didn't enter any Id or Password info because it
usually asks for this information.

What am I missing?

The FrontPage extensions are broken.
http://susiesfunart.com/_vti_inf.html returns a 404 for the page that "should" be the extensions configuration file.

However according to the server response:
Server: Apache/1.3.36 (Unix) mod_gzip/1.3.26.1a mod_auth_passthrough/1.8 mod_log_bytes/1.2 mod_bwlimited/1.4
mod_jk/1.2.14 PHP/4.4.2 FrontPage/5.0.2.2635.SR1.2 mod_ssl/2.8.27 OpenSSL/0.9.7a

they are supposedly installed:

Have your host install / reinstall them and then try.
Or repair them yourself if your domain account has the web masters CPanel.
