saving web page

If I go to File/Save As, I get four options:
1) Web page -complete 2)Web archive -single file 3)web
page html only and 4)text file.

When I chose Web Page, it created a folder in addition to
an html file. I don't understand what all this is. Does
the folder contain images, links etc?

Also when I tried to save a web page that contained
frames it didn't do it. All I got is portions of the
frames but not the main web page.

As for the other options I don't understand how they
work. What is archive-single file. And when I tried Text
file, all I got was a jumbled up page.
