saving to DVD

I am not very good with computers but last year worked out how to make a
movie and save it to dvd and guess what ?? it worked !!! i was so pleased
with myself.
Yesterday I opened my movie maker to copy my christmas videos and it all
looked different, have they upgraded it? the special effects were all
different ??
Anyway my big problem was that after hours of playing with it i finally had
a movie to save, when i went to save it to dvd it wouldnt do it, it would
only save to cd?? why has this changed and can i save it to dvd?

YOu may have had MM2.0 and if you installed SP2 for XP then you would now
have MM2.1
Other than that there have been no changes to MM.
If you have changed/added/removed other programmes this may have had an
effect.
MM only saved to dvd if you had media centre edition, otherwise you have to
use another programme for your dvd authoring.
