saving to disk cdrive

each time i try to save anything to disk i get message "you do not have
permission to perform this task. ask administrator for permission.
Very annoying as I am the administrator.
 
Is this a CD drive? Hard to tell from your subject line! If so, then that is
normal behaviour. Never attempt to read and write from Word to removable
media. Always use the hard drive the copy to and from the CD.
