Saving to CD

When trying to save my project to CD, an error page comes up asking me to
"verify original source files are still available, the saving location is
still available, or that there is enough free disk space." I'm positive the
problem isn't with the saving location or disk space. My fear is this: Before
completing the project, I attempted to "clean up" my image locations (NOT
within WMM Collections, but via desktop, My Pictures, etc). When I did this,
any photo that changed location was then represented by a huge red "X" (even
after I had saved the project). I had to go back and re-import all of the
"Xed" images and replace them into my project. Since that mistake, I haven't
manipulated any original source files. Could my previous mistake still be
affecting the saving process? My project is complete, yet I can't save it to
CD (CD-RW that WMM recommends), DVD, or my hard drive (the same error page
appears for all 3). Any ideas??

Thanks!

HI,

Now that you have all the items back this will not be a problem. The
project is just alist of things that MM needs to do to make your movie, so
it looks for picture a at location b, it looks ofr music c at location e and
it adds transition x etc. Until you acutally save the movie there is
nothing actually there.

What canm cause this problem is incompatible files

Also, unless you run media centre edition MM won't save to dvd. The cd you
make will be in Himat format and won't play on normal dvd players.

If that's what you want, tehn save the file as a dv-avi

Then import into another app to make your dvd or vcd.
