Saving to CD-R

Guest

I am having problems saving my PowerPoint presentation to a CD-R. I get a
perimeter problem one time and it says that the drive is not running - insert
a CD (and there is one in the drive). When I reinsert, the problems just
loop back around. Any assistance would be appreciated.....Thank You !

Have you tried testing it on other cd-rom drive ? The problem may lies during
the burning the presentation to the cd-r. Hence, you may need to try burning
it again.

Don't save directly to a CD. Save to your hard drive and then use your CD
burning software to put a copy of the file on a CD.

Mich,

if your PC has problems (after staring to write data to the cd-r), then the
cd-r is useless (except maybe for a bad coaster).

Start with a blank (new) cd-r.... and follow Sonia's advice
