saving to a recordable cd

I'm trying to save the video i made into a recordable cd. So everything works
up until the part where it's saving onto the cd. it goes smoothly until it
goes up to 14%. Then it stops entirely, and the minutes remaining keeps
rising up. It goes from 60 minutes up to 300 minutes, and still goes up. Can
anyone please tell me what the problem is and how to fix it? This is really
important, thanks.

create an image of the disk use nero alchohol 120 or any other image
creating software that wud save it.
