I have created a database in office 2007, however i need to be able to use
it on a computer with an older version (office xp). However whenever i save
it in the format all the buttons in the forms don't work.

A2007 has a new macro engine that did not exist in AccessXP. If you build
buttons using the wizard, they'll use the new macros... about which AccessXP
knows nothing.

You'll need to rebuild the buttons to use VBA code rather than macros.

Hi, is there a quick or fairly simple way of doing this

I'm not sure, since I don't have 2007 installed. In 2003 and earlier there was
an option on the Macro window to convert a macro to code. It didn't generate
very GOOD code but it at least ran and AFAIK performed the same operations.
Check to see if that conversion is still available in 2007.
