We created a slideshow that we want to burn to a disk. I was having a lot of
trouble saving the file, because it would freeze halfway through the slide
show, however the audio would continue. I finally got it saved, but after it
is burned to the DVD the pictures are not very clear. Can someone tell me
the best movie setting to use in the "Save Movie Wizard" in order to get a
better quality picture?

What application did you use to create the slideshow? In general, you want
to use the highest quality settings that will still produce a file of the
proper size to fit on your disk. In other words, it makes no sense to use
such a high quality setting that the output is larger than the capacity of
your disk. There is also the problem of time to recode and save the file.
For instance, I recently used Microsoft Movie Maker to create an anime
sci-fi action movie. I combined three parts of a movie into one continuous
movie. At the highest possible quality settings it would have taken my
computer about 12 hours to recode and save the file. I chose a quality
setting that enabled me to have the disk burned in only a little over 40
minutes.

Use your application to create the slideshow with these constraints in mind
and save the result to your hard drive. Burn the file from the hard drive
to your disk.

We used Windows Movie Maker. The slideshow is composed of pictures that we
scanned into the computer. It is a 22 minute slideshow. I have not idea
what the highest quality setting I will need.
Any advise will be helpful.
