saving pictures

I can no longer save a picture from the internet as a jpeg only a bitmap. Have I done something to cause this. It is NOT the picture format, I can save the same picture from another computer as jpeg.

Clear your browser cache. If you are using Internet Explorer, click Tools -
Internet Options. In the section entitled "Temporary Internet Files" click
the button entitled "Clear Files".

Clear the Temporary Internet Files. In IE>Tools>Internet Options>
Delete Files button. And check the box to Delete Offline content

Basically, you need to clean up your temporary Internet files.
