1. Click on your folder "My Pictures" to open it. This folder is located
under My Documents.
2. Click on File on your top bar, then on New and Folder.
3. A New textbox will open. Replace New Folder with something you can easily
remember, like the year and name of your friend. Type in:
2004_Photos from XYZ to replace New Folder
and press the Enter key.
4. Place the CD in the drive and wait 15-20 seconds for XP to recognize it
5. A window will open, click on the item "Open folder to view....
6. You will see the name of the files on the CD.
7. To select all the files, hold the Ctrl key down and press the letter A.
This will select (highlight in blue) all the files on the CD.
8. Look at the menu on the left, under File and Folder Tasks and click on
Copy the selected items.
9. A window will open. My Documents will be listed at the top of this
window. Click on it to Open it. Scroll down under My Documents until you see
My Pictures.
Click on it to open it. The name of the new folder you made will be listed
there. Click on it to highlight it in blue. Click on the Copy button at the
bottom of this window and the copying will start.

To view them, you simply click on My Computer, My Documents, My Pictures and
the new folder you made.
