Saving Personnel Settings

I need to reload Word because of corrupt files and I want to save personnel settings (i.e., font defaults, file defaults, etc.) Can I save these settings so that I can reload them after I have reloaded Word?

I do not understand what you are trying to save, but...
Tools - Options - User Information tab.

Maybe this information is stored in the Registry... When you re-install
Word, the settings will be reseted.

Reinstalling should not reset any personal settings, since it does not
overwrite Normal.dot or the Registry. But see
