I am about to carry out a full re-boot with the recovery disc and want to
know the best/easiest way to put all my OE email folders (containing emails)
onto CD, and then put them back afterwards. Anyone help?

Right click on any of your "local folders" in OE like the Inbox and select
properties. There you will find the location of all your messages in all
your local folders, the have a .dbx extension. Copy all of them to a cd.
If you also want your address book, just bring up the address book and click
on Help, About address book and it will show you the location of the .wab
file, copy it also.

After you reinstall XP, copy all the files from the cd to a folder on you
hard drive. Then bring up OE and click File, Import and import all those
local msg folders and files. Same with the address book.
