Saving open attachments

When opening an office attachment, I am prompted to save it twice when I
close it.
If I do not respond twice to saving it, I loose the attatchment. Is there a
setting in Outlook that will automaticly save changes to an attatchment?
 
No, if you want to save the changes, you have to explictly do so.
