Saving in Media Player

Have just started using windows media player in xp to
watch clips from the net. My problem is that no matter
what I try I cannot save the clip, can anyone please
advise as to what I am doing wrong.

Hi,

Much of the content you are viewing on the Internet
is "Streaming" content...

Sadly you can NOT (legally) keep a copy on your hard
drive as the data is "discarded" once it has been viewed.

If you see a media file and it ends in .WMV or .WMA then
you can download this to your machine and paly back when
you want to.. However there may be copyright issues to
check first.
