saving in front page

Problem just started.

I've been editing a website for a long time and all of a sudden when I make
changes to a page, I get the log on screen. When I try to log on, I just
keep getting the logon box which won't accpt my OK's. I hit cancel and it
brings me back to my unsaved page.

What to do?

It sounds like you're trying to save to your remote web, which you should
have open before you do any editing.

Or, you need to open the web on the local machine, edit page(s), then
publish the changed page(s), as per normal via File > Publish > Web

Be sure you're entering the logon details for your frontpage web/server
(which may not be the same details as for your ISP).
