Saving Folders/Address Book

Hi,

I need to reload Outlook Express on a machine running
WIN98 SE. Can anyone tell me how to save existing e-
mails and entries in my address book so that I can
restore them once I've reloaded the application? I'm
unable to start the existing (corrupt) version of the
application so I need to find the folders which contain
this information as opposed to Exporting the data.

im not sure because i dont use it, try

c:\windows\anwendungsdaten\identities\

watch out for a folder like this or else {43EA934555BAB}
in it you will find your e-mails
save it and before you restore the files to a new hdd
start outlookexpress and create a new mail but dont send it
push the x for close and at the promt for saving it or not
use save. after that close programm and copy your old
files to the new system.
