I have a school network that has just upgraded to XP client swith te GPO set
to hide all the C drive and all users save files to the H drive. Now when a
user tries to save any frontpage file all that appears is "unable to save"
there doesnot appear any location where I can set the defualt path of saved
files to go to. I am used to Dreamweaver and others that give you the
options. Any suggestions?

If you click File > Save As... FrontPage will open a File Browser Dialog that will let
you navigate to the H drive.

Additionally, when a new web is created, if saved to the H drive, FrontPage will always
use that location for that web.

Steve,

I tried that but all i got up was a dialogue box saying unable to save, it
appears that when teh local C drive and my documenst are removed via the GPO
FP2003 seems to not be able to just pass up the dialogue box to "my computer"
like all other office software.
Any thoughts

What "they" **should** have done before blocking the C drive is change the Target
location of My Documents to the H:\ drive.
This is done by right clicking My Documents and selecting Properties, which changes
registry information as to the file path to My Documents.

They should go "back" into GPO and make the changes.
