Saving files from a template to a directory

I have a centrally located template that is used to create a succession of
documents. I would like these documents to be saved in a specific directory
on a server.

Is it possible to have all documents created from a template save to a
specific directory, while leaving the default work directory as "My
Documents" for all other documents?
