Saving Desktop Settings

Everytime I use our LCD projector the icons on my desktop get moved. I'm
guessing that this is due to the difference in screen resolution changes
between the laptop screen and the projector.

If I backup my desktop folder will it save the relative positions of the
icons?

Add Save and Restore Desktop Layout to Menu
