saving animated GIF's

When I try to save an animated GIF on the internet I am not given any choice
of format in the drop down menu. It will only save it as a BITMAP which is
not animated.
I did not used to have this problem. What has gone wrong?

Hi,

Your Temporary Internet Files (TIF) are overloaded, clearing them should
resolve it. Go to the Control Panel/Internet Options, click on the button to
delete files on the general tab in the TIF section.

If I am unsure I usually try writing .gif in the save thing just to be
sure
