Saving an edited query

Stan

I have created a new DB. When I created a new query the DB
forces me to save the query. I cannot close without
saving. When I edit and close an exisiting query the
change are saved, wihtout asking if I want to save the
changes.

I have checked Tools/options and do see anything to check
off to change the save feature.

Can someone tell me why this is happening only in this DB.

Being prompted to Save changes is the default event when closing any
db object that has been changed. If you're not being prompted to save
changes this usually indicates a glitch somewhere. I've found that
compacting the db usually cures that glitch. Sometimes just closing &
opening the db cures the glitch.
