M Mark L. Ferguson Oct 31, 2004 #2 start/run, type: SYSDM.CPL Advanced tab, startup and recovery area, settings button. Remove the checks from the memory dump and reset the log file. Restart, and re-enable memory dump setting as you want them.

G Guest Oct 31, 2004 #3 Thanks Mark I followed your instructions but I'm still getting the "savedump failed to properly initialize" error. I also get the same error if i try to run "drwtsn32". Do you think these errors are related?

M Mark L. Ferguson Oct 31, 2004 #4 I don't know. Drwtsn32.log is the file that should be created. It may exist, and have info on that.
