saved files with 0 kb

After you save the file and go to the file location and check to see how
large the file is it show 0KB but when you double click on the file it opens
and the document is intact. If you open outlook and send this file as an
attachment, the person that receives this attachment gets an empty document
 
Most likely what you're looking at is merely a link to the file.
