Saved files in officeXP

I recently upgraded to Office XP and now notice that some
of my saved files (filename.xls) appear in blue font and
others in black. Can anyone tell me why and what the
difference may be? THANKS!!!

Windows XP Operating System(if you are using Win XP) indicates compressed
files by using blue text.
