Is there a way when saving as a PDF from Word to have an outline created so
that in Acrobat Reader the outline view will display?

Thanks

Lionel,

I believe you need to use Word's Heading styles for Acrobat to be able to
recognize the doc's structure. So, for example, if you are manually creating

Hans - thanks - that is close to what I needed. I have a TOC but what I was
missing was in the SaveAsPDF options to turn on the option to create
Bookmarks.

Once Bookmarks are enabled along with the # of levels it works like a charm.

Another ata-boy (or ata-girl) to Microsoft for this addin.
