Save workbook with preview in open file dialog box

I am taking an excel course which asks how to save a
workbook so that a preview is available in the 'open
file' dialog box. I can't find or figure out the answer.

This one didn't seem to be in the Help.

File - Properties - Summary tab. Save Preview Picture.
 
Hi,
This is directly from the Help Section under "Preview"

Note A preview is not available if the file was saved in
a version of Microsoft Excel that does not support
previews, or if the Save preview picture check box was not
selected on the Summary tab in the Properties dialog box
(File menu, Properties command) when the file was saved.
