Save Web

I have made changes to my web on my hard drive. I do not want to save it as
the old name because I want to keep intact the old web. I want to save the
whole web to another name. How do I do this? I only see save pages.

Open the web.

Go File | Publish.

Choose a new folder. Publish.

That will make a complete copy of the web you opened.

When I try to publish it (from my own computer to my own computer) and I
enter a name, I get the message "The folder isn't accessible"

Where on your computer are you trying to publish it to? Try creating the new
web first as an empty web and then try to publish to it.

I didn't have any luck with that either. I finally just copied the web to a
temp folder, renamed it and moved it back to my webs folder.

Thank you.

I suggest create a new folder and use File, Save as to store all your
files in a new folder.

Hope this helps.

On your hard drive, that is.
The "remote" destination can be just another folder on your hard drive, not
necessarily an http:// address.
