Save to DVD

I have seen references to the MM option "Save to DVD". What exactly does it do? I am certain that it
does not create a movie DVD playable on a DVD player. Instead I suspect that it simply writes the
generated video file to this media. Is this correct?

Thanks

I had a look at the page that you indicated. The info is really great,
but my question was not so much as to how to get MM content to
a DVD, but rather a certain curiosity as to what the "Save to DVD"
option does. I use MM on three PCs and I have not seen this option
to even try it. I was hoping that some one who is familiar with it
would give me a brief description on what it does.

For example, the MM docs say that using Save to CD will generate
a CD in HIMAT format. Frankly I have never heard of that format, but
the docs mention that it is not playable as a VCD on a normal DVD
player and that the player must explicitly support the HIMAT format
in order to recognize the generated CD.

Thanks again. I made a note of the page that you referenced, as well
as the DVDFlick (read doc first!) page.
