save slides as images

Hi,
can I save individual slides as images (.jpg,...)?
I need to put a powerpoint presentation on a web site and don't want
to require the users to have powerpoint installed in order to view the
slides. I thought if I save the slides as images, I can get around
this.

Yes, you can. You can choose Save As from the File menu. Under Save As
Type, you can choose JPEG as your type (you'll have to scroll down in the
list of types). However, you might also explore choosing Web Page as your
type.

Click File > Save As.
Under save as type, click on the dropdown.
Look for JPEG and click Save. When prompted, select every slides.
