Save parameter values in Querydef?

I want to open a form with a parameter query that has pre-
defined parameter values. I can create the querydef and
assign values to the parameters, but when I open it with
the form, the parameter values are null. Apparently they
are not saved with the querydef. Using Access97.
Any ideas?

Please post the code that you used to modify the Query using QueryDef.
