is there a setting like in outlook where you can save online email after it's
downloaded to windows mail?

Is there a way to import already saved pst files into windows mail?

i'm on vacation and would like to import my already saved pst files from
outlook because my laptop crashed and i had to get new one. I need to
continue working and saved alot of info in outlook and don't have access to
downloading software until i get home. The new laptop i purchased only has
limited trial version of microsoft office and doesn't include outlook at all
so i'm forced to use windows mail for the time being.

If you can get on the web would it not be easier to just read your mail at
web2mail.com. Then when you get home set everything up again. A new laptop
must a browser installed ready to use. Hope its of some help to you.

Once you download the messages, they are saved on your local machine in
WinMail. You can try File
| Import to get the messages from Outlook, but I think Outlook has to be
installed for that to work.
