I'm wondering if there is a way to simultaneously save a
file to two different locations (e.g to the local disk
(C:) and to a network)? I don't want to have to save the
file twice each time i use it as it is a heavily used
file and sometimes saved multiple times in a day.
Thanks

I hate to answer with a question, but why do you need to save it in two
places? If it's on the network, you wouldn't really need a local copy except
maybe for backup. If you need to save it in two places for backup purposes
you should just setup your backup program to do incremental saves throughout
the day.

I just tried this:

In the file window I did File->SaveAs and it saved and
window stayed open. Then I did File->Close and saved in
second directroy. This worked for me. Sounds like this
is answer. I have never heard of saving twice at one
time.

I recommend 'second copy 2000' from
http://www.centered.com/
which does (or can be set up to do) just about what the OP wants.
