Save command disabled in MDE

I created an MDE database file from a 2003 MDB database. When I run the MDE I
notice that the Save & Save As commands are disabled. They are not disabled
in the MDB file. Can anyone tell me why these commands get disabled in the
MDE?

After reading your response I discovered my goof. I had created a custom
toolbar with what I thought was the Save Record command when actually it was
simply the Save command. Modified the toolbar and all is good now!
