Save as

When doing a save as, can word2003 remember where you did your last save as.
I don't want to change file location, but I would like for it to remember the
last path I did a save as to?

If you save a document, Word remembers the path associated with that
document. While the document is open, it will always Save back to the folder
it was first saved in. Savd As will change that path to wherever you save
the document.
Word always re-starts with the document folder associated with tools >
options > file locations > documents having focus (for the saving of new
documents).
Word otherwise retains focus with the used last folder document folder.
